After 6 months working in the town, getting to know the local community and organisations that make it tick, we have developed draft proposals for the long term regeneration of the town centre. We have listened to a wide range of opinions about the needs and problems of the town centre and have tried to respond to these in a realistic way. The strategy will form the basis for the long term development of the town centre, identifying the main locations, general layout and character of development proposed, but not detailed designs. None of our proposals are in any way final at this stage and we are keen to hear your thoughts on our ideas before they are finalised. Continued here... |
